The Advantages of Being a First Mover

Evan Davis: There is this sort of a mindset that you know being first is the biggest advantage. He was on the board of directors of the Danish court system when they decided to digitize it. It became a huge disaster, he says; people had nervous breakdowns and stayed at home. But now studies have shown there's no such thing as a 'first mover' but an early follower rather than one who has learned from others.
