T s m c has taken a commodity business and turned it into one of the biggest motes of all time, totally. Nobody's ever done this since the pre morris days. The other thing is that they already are the largest. They have over 50 % of the market for foundries,. like for all contract manufacturing of chips, and like 95 plus% of the profit. It is also true that they have 90%. market share on the current generation, like the leading edge chip. Lk, you can still buy previous generation o worse technology from for plenty of years to come.
