A grid interactive system doesn't put any money back onto the grid. What it does is it, whatever generation you get over the course of a day, you don't have to buy that amount of electricity from the grid. The other nice thing about your specific inverter is you can actually program it to use the battery down to a certain place and then use the grid to either top it back up or to keep it at that level.
