I'm a teacher here. How can i make sure a student feels safe with me? Are there any specific things i can do to make sure strong connection with my student? Absolutely. I love that question. Im number one, i contact. Number two, use the child's name. People feel so valued when we use their name. And remember, especially a the beginning of the year, don't worry if the kid is not making the academic advancements. Much more important that they feel safe with you. Bcause, again, we want to keep that brain, that big space, really open.
