Is Hegel a Sincere Thinker?
Sincerity is operative in the pursuit of truth itself, he says. Hegel's phenomenology starts with husere d then goes through hydeger a to merlopontean start. The word 'sincerity' does not appear anywhere in his work or that of freud. But if you cut out part of freud where he was earnestly invested in helping people and taking care of them, it's very easy to make him a monster who used people for money.
