The Benefits of Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing
Dissociative identities especially may be helped by eye movement desensitization reprocessing, EMDR. It allows the brain to grab traumatic events and drop them into the memory glands which are on both sides of your brain in the back. So basically it moves the furniture in your brain in a sense that we don't have as many triggers because all of a sudden the event that you had is no longer feeling but you see what happened.
