The Differences Between Basic and Large Language Models

There are a number of important differences between basic and large language models. You can't readily foresee in advance what the system is going to do, you just basically have to run it and see what happens. It's something that is not that different from our interaction but for example the natural world until you know the science of how something works you just say, well, if I plant this plant in this way then I find out three months later that it's growing in that way.
