Is There a Spike?
I think some people feel overwhelmed with the idea of a spike. I honestly think that's totally fine. But where the problem comes is if the spike becomes the production code and then you add the tests after, at least in my experience. So even when I'm trying to do a spike, sometimes I don't know what I'm aiming at unless I write like a super high level test. It just helps me with the process.
