The Power General of Generalativity

It doesn't really mess with the general theory of relativity. Maybe thes s particle stuff that's going on is complicated. Whereas dark energy seems like a horse of a different color. It only took einstein eight years or nine years to work out the implications of it. I do it in an hour and class, having already seen itbecausemuch smarter. But at some level, couldn't one put it this way? So maybe i'm completely off base,. but my sense is, i if you're somebody who puts an emphasis on the beauty and the evocative power of generelativity,  it also happens to reflect reality.
