Why Should We Care?
Most of the world's food is in the control of just four corporations. One in four beer is drunk around the world as the product of one brewer. There 15 hundred varieties of banana, of which we basically use one. So your interest in food items that are slowly going extinct is the diversity by its very nature, is a good thing?
