The Risk of Tipping People in Japan

"It's so weird to me that you can't tip people here because out of every country that I've lived in and been to the one country I've wanted to tip people the most is here in Japan," he says. "I think the only service in Japan that you can actually tip people is Uber Eats which is an international company right" He also talks about his experience with a taxi driver who took 20 minutes longer than it should have taken for him to get home from work due to bad traffic.
