Is Intellectual Humility a Virtue of Ignorance?
I think intellectual humility actually has two components that cancan be distinct. And i believe that there are people who exemplify one but not the other, but often they are together. Men drive er talks in tones of modesty, rather than humility. So you have this class of views about humility that link it to sort of acknowledge ment of limitation, a to ignorance about strength, and so on and so forth. I mean, i disagree with this characterization of modesty, but i think she is right that this is about the modesty dimension of humility.
