How to Write Tight Fiction

I've always been a very tight writer and I've had conversations with friends about length. So it's been a little bit of a challenge like, okay, well, how tight can I write? And I took a workshop on hermit crab fiction with Stephanie Post and that inspired me further to see what other kind of weird stuff can I do. This is fiction where the main characters are all hermit crabs and we're in their world now. That workshop stressed me out so much because they were doing 10 things and I couldn't keep up. It was like hipster mystery but with this different spin or whatever.
