People like to be in control, or at least most people do. And when we try to get them to do something, they just don't do it. They basely have an anti persuasion radar that encourages them. When you give people one option, they spend a lot of time thinking about what they don't like and so their radar goes off. We've got to figure out how to getting them to persuade themselves by giving them more of that freedom and control. Wut yure, allowing them to choose within that choice set is much better than pushing for change.
