The humanities are nearest to the foundation of our culture. And they're completely dominated by radical leftists, post modern neomarcists. There aren't even conservatives in those domains, let alone right wingers. It's always useful for people to find someone to hate and hit. So that motivation drives radicals on both sides of the political spectrum.
