The Problem of Evil in the Universe

If we humans were indeed created by a just and loving God, then why weren't we created equal? It's patently obvious that we come into this world with radically different talents and capacities. Even worse is the fact that some people are apparently born morally better than others. In the ancient world, it was if anything taken for granted that all men, to say nothing of women, are not created equal.
