Gut health and anxiety is there a way that you want to kind of just introduce this I guess in many ways we're talking about the gut brain access here. Yeah so I think a great place to start would perhaps talk a little bit about what happens when you are in a state of anxiety. Your original glands they produce these stress hormones and then it's your brain that perceives the stressor which could be anything like work life relationships or physical stress such as injuries but it could also be chemical stressors. The pituitary gland located in the brain sends a signal to your adrenal glands for cortisol, an anti-depressant hormone. These two together strengthen the sympathetic nervous system
