Shame is a primary pathway to distress for many people that look at pornography, especially those that have strong moral convictions. One of the primary measures indicators or effects in this whole moral incongruence cycle is shame. So you know, some of what I'm sharing is not brand new by any means, but what I really like is seeing the connection of what the psychologists and clinicians are finding with some of the brain research.
