How to Hone Your Strategy for Success

I used to do a wheel strategy where you basically sell out of money puts to get long. But it has some some tail risk also and I feel like it's very high strategy. So I basically don't do it anymore. I'm just long, basically value long stocks in my portfolio. And as far as options goes like in my day trading account, I only, I would short calls if I can't get a locate for for a stock.
