The Elders' Purview on Nine Marks Governance

Mr. Oldside: I had a decision today that dynamics about nine marks governance. He says he doesn't want to encourage the staff to kind of organize as a union and have a particular mindset. Some churches, especially when they get larger and have larger numbers of elders use an executive committee. Mr. Oldside said if it's done at the request of the elders as a whole, with the approval of the Elders' Court then fine. But anything that's going to be a decision, that's the elders as elders, not the staff, even if some of the staff are elders.
