"I was going to be a little messed up no matter what," she says. "There is no better or worse job for a perfectionist than film actor because you're rewarded for getting it right the first time" Her family suffered abuse and trauma on both sides, but they were able to escape most of their relatives' problems. She thinks that being labeled gifted makes people feel like they have to live up to something.
