The Scarcity of Priests in the Catholic Church

I want it never as a law, maybe in a thousand years, that there's no prohibition against it except by papal fiat. What they ought to do is bring back the priests who left to get married. They can't run away from that one. And I think it wouldn't bother most Catholics for the pope to allow marriage. We could do it by the stroke of his pen tomorrow and then it would be okay. So some people say, well, why are you Catholic? You shouldn't even be Catholic.
