The Six Seasons Model

The idea of four seasons wasn't indigenous to the Arabian Peninsula. The first rain that was important in the autumn was called wasmi, which means you're some little odd bit about the earth is marked or you begin to see right plants coming up. And then they have this season called hamim, which was a rain, which was an early rain in spring. Then there's but I'll be out, which is very early spring, even before spring and then safe. We think of it as summer in the classical model, but in a lot of areas, including Yemen.
