How to Attribute Performance to the NASDAQ

I've got a couple of burner accounts on seeking alpha and I'm just messing with you. So, yeah, I was just explaining to some, I tried to use it as an educational opportunity whenever possible. You can attribute the performance of the S&P this year to the NASDAQ. But if you don't know why you performed well poorly or somewhere in between, then I think what you're saying is you're kind of flying blind.
