Remembering the dead of the first and second world wars is an enormous task. For every headstone, you've probably got an effect on ten, 15 other people. I think it's very easy for us to forget that bad things can happen,. If we don't prevent them then there's nothing to say that type of sacrifice couldn't happen in t future.
