The Importance of Ears in Music

I would say I became interested in making any kind of music when I was 12. And I joined my high school band and was like, Oh, orchestral music's kind of cool. So I think that's actually kind of influenced the way my ears works because I spent like seven years in a band just playing these like really high pitched instruments. The same thing for my music except because I played drums for a long time,. I concentrate a lot on like the groove of the whole thing and making sure that like everything is sitting correctly rhythmically.
