The Importance of Being Authentic
Amanda Sebelius: One of the biggest journeys of my life was to go from truly believing us being authentic. When I first started speaking, like literally 35 years ago, my mentor then was Ron Tacky. He's dead now, but it was the first speaker I'd ever seen. And what I noticed was so many of them were one thing on stage, a completely different off stage. So I determined that I would always be uber authentic. Well, you know what he did? Only found this out like six years ago when his entire life turned upside down.
