Right now the talaban are very well armed and they are triumphant. In my view, that opposition is really very small. The far bigger challenge for the talaban will come from two principal sources. Most important is whether they'll be able to maintain cohesion and enough pay off of their military commanders within the talaban itself. And if not, a very potent force potentially are so called fateyum, the shea afghans whom iran had sent for several years to fight in places like syria and libya. Many of them could be activated and supported by iran to pose a challenge to the talaban. And of course, briscopic danger of sectarian violence flaring
