The fourth crusade turned into a rogue crusade when the venetians used the armies to raid and destroy the croatian city of zadar for its wealth. In ging events took place with the son of the deposed byzantine emperor isaac the second. The son was called alexius angelus, and he pledged byzantine allegiance to the rogue crusaders. Alexius angelus became alexius the fourth of the byzantine empire until he was deposed and killed at the tender age of 21.
