The US Approach to Regulating Cryptocurrency Is Upending That
Crypto is global. Regulators all around the world need to have relatively similar rules if they're going to have any luck in regulating crypto effectively. The concern is that the US approach is basically upending that. It means that the US is spending more time on enforcement, less time on thinking about what a regulatory framework might look like. And it makes it more difficult for other jurisdictions to match that.
