In Trump land, anything that could possibly embarrass the president is magically immune and you can never be subpoenaed to talk about it. The White House completely stonewalled all the congressional subpoenas in the first impeachment. They basically said, what are you going to do about it? And the answer was, you know, nothing because we didn't control the Justice Department.
