Larry Fishburn turned down Pulp Fiction because it's not a big enough role. He eventually gets with the Matrix, but that's a brutal one to miss. The strategy to get him out of the superstar character actor quality place is so funny though you don't even think he was right about his name above the title in the Matrix? It doesn't make as much sense or not either.
