Do We Trust in Our Own Resources or Do We Just Trust in Them?

The Greek word for faith, pistis means trust. One of the major reasons we don't contribute is because of fear. Jesus wants us to learn not to trust in our own resources, but to trust in him. There's no achievement that can come close to the glory and the peace and the joy of knowing that we made God the Father pleased with how we have served him.
