Is There a No Kissing Rule?

Champion Whistler Christopher Oldman has an anti-kissing rule. He says it makes your lips mushy kissing before a performance. How they must be dry, parched and dry by the time he's whistling. I don't actually know how he moizzes them. The problem is none of us knows Mozart's oboe.
