The Barberry Pirates
The Knights of Malta in particular who the lineals ascendance if you like of the crusading order. They were doing some sort of things, and so Malta was a constant movement of slaves through the island. Sometimes once these slaves managed to get themselves freed, sometimes they themselves would turn into barberry pirates. We had cases of this.
