Ag of the Christie's Poiro, the Greatest Detective in the World

Director Henry Edwards makes no real effort to inject the proceedings with any tension. The story is largely unaltered from the novel, but it's an unexciting screen treatment. Trevor's Poirot seems a little bored by the proceedings while Richard Cooper's Hastings makes great play of the comedy silly ass role so common in films of the period.
