IoT Security - How Does Machine Learning Work?
The only way you can do this at scale is through machine learning. The good news is when you think about IoT devices and these unmanaged devices that we focus on, as we discussed earlier, they are kind of deterministic. They do the same thing over and over and over again. And that gives you the ability to build a pretty accurate behavior model for that type of device,. That's what can be used to build out a really good security policy. If anything goes wrong, if malware gets into an environment, you can really restrict the blast radius.
