The War in Ukraine Hasn't Played on Voters' Minds at All in the Turkish Elections
The main opposition candidate here has been quite coy about relations with Russia, obviously understanding what a thorn issue it is right now. Turkey get a lot of its energy from Russia in terms of natural gas, in terms of oil supplies. A lot of so-called gray imports have been coming through Turkey, and Turkey is basically one of the reasons why the supermarket shelves in Russia are still full. It's likely that we will have some kind of a final result tomorrow morning.
