CockroachDB: A Cloud Native Database for Kubernetes
CockroachDB is a cloud native database and can run inside on top of Kubernetes. Cockroach has replication just built right in, so you don't have to worry about running something like Postgres or other monolithic databases with only one node. The architectural advantage of Cockroach DB is that horizontal scalability - I need to add some more capacity into my database. It's minutes to add on that additional capacity. And we also have a few extensions of our own that other databases don't support.
