Foucault's History of Madness

In the early 1960s, Foucault is working on things like questions of madness and questions about medicine. He sketches out a number of themes that are significant for much of his later career. In The Birth of the Clinic, which comes out in 1963, he calls it "the outtakes from the history of madness" There's also discussion in that book of sexuality as well.
