Rabbi Kagan: The whole point of these laws is these are the actions. If your soul was making decisions these are the things you would be doing. We don't look at the law as a distinct thing from that developing self in context with in connection with God. There's a lot of different levels when you use the term image from a term perspective there are many many different levels to it.
