Is There a Difference Between Poor People and Women?

Research shows that people just above poverty have some of the strongest and most negative stereotypes about poor people. Many women, I think, also have what we might say as a traditional worldview about gender relations,. They believe that in some ways, at least they should be subjugated to men. It's not that women are especially likely to stay in a bad or abusive relationship; it's that a remarkable number of women find themselves trapped in an abusive relationship.
