Typewriter Repairs - How Do You Get Them Up and Running?

Most of my customers are buying typewriters for me because they want to use them in some way or fashion. So I have all these pieces in play, but I don't do detailed repair. A lot of times, I don't know how many, what percentage have to be repaired. 50% of them have to be repairs and 50% just need a cleaning and a new ribbon.
