Where Does Inequality Come From?
The book is about how people develop politically by differentiating themselves from other people. The author argues that human history isn't as rigid as we typically say, as it was maybe a more playful process. Humans and proto humans are cousins within our evolutionary treesn there's a lot we don't know about them. We've tried out thousands of varieties of ways of organizing ourselves over the course of human history. And looking at that in contrast, that makes our society look very stuck in comparison.
