The most influential, powerful people of our day are software people. So many programmers to day are going the boot camp rout. They're self taught on line, and they don't have a four year degree. There's certainly enormous opportunities for on line learning. Although empirically, people who start on line things often tail away very, very quickly. The the enrolments in many on line courses decay expedientially after the first couple of lectures. If you do that with focus on computer science, you actually learn more than just how to write code. And this kind of like short circuit into the work force.
