Death to Deconstruction
Deconstruction has become an umbrella term that describes the process by which someone who was once a Christian embarks on a quest to jettison parts or all of their Christianity. "If my story is worse than yours, then I get to decide what you can or can't say about it," says author David Perry in his book Death to deconstruction. Perry: It's a way of thinking in which individuals claim ownership of certain genres of pain and suffering.
