The Perception of the Virtual Reality Medium

The intention of van bertin burlevski was to mediate our experience. He used a mirror to show that you could compare a picture to the actual thing, and to see how they sort of matched up geometrically. And so albertie later codified this, and he came up with this thing called the planet elevation method. It allowed future artists to actually employ this technical method to produce am geometrical spaces and and linea perspectives. But i think what they were trying to do, basically was to reproduce our spatial experience of the world, even though there were lots of problems with us.
