Are You Predicting Long-Term Weight Loss Success?

When we compare naturally lean people to people who are what they would call at a reduced body weight, it does seem like people who are in a weight reduced state moving forward have a slightly reduced energy expenditure compared to people who were naturally that size all along. And that doesn't seem to be meaningfully predictive of anyone's ability to successfully maintain that weight loss. So yeah, I do think that you're on to something and that there's a mismatch where some people believe the weight loss phase is going to be hard.
