The Miracle of Consciousness

I know that when I held my infant son who almost died during childbirth in the hospital, and the hallway of a van, I know that feeling is love. That same sensation is the perfect corollary for the divine force that is here with us and in all things. The miracle of consciousness itself is evidence of God-ishness because I'm in the middle. And this incredible way of being, we don't need to have as human beings. From the materialist point of view, the only consciousness that we would need to propagate the species is one slightly above gorilla.
