Jesus Confronts Corruption in the Temple
Jesus enters the temple and is appalled by the corruption he witnesses. The temple, meant to be a place of prayer and praise, has been turned into a business center by the leadership. Jesus sees this as another example of the corruption of Israel's leadership and quotes the poetry of two prophets to express his outrage.
